This is one of the most popular and favored rice dishes in Egypt. I love to eat the rice made in this way but my husband prefers the rice with Fideo so I try to compromise whenever I can. I hope you will love this rice as much as I do.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup oil.
1 and 1/4 cup white rice.
1 and 1/2 cup water.
½ tsp salt.
Method:
1- Stir fry ¼ cup of the rice in the oil until golden color.
2- Add the water and the 1 cup of rice.
4- Add the salt
3- Once boiled, reduce heat and cook on a very low heat for 20 minutes.
